The evening Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri is one of India's most spectacular rituals. Thousands of diyas (oil lamps) are floated on the Ganges as priests chant Vedic hymns to the accompaniment of bells and conch shells. Arrive 45 minutes early for the best spot.
